The pulse-take used in Chinese medicine to diagnose one or several imbalances is used throughout the session in order to create an ongoing exchange of information between the patient and practitioner.

The patient, who is not required to remove his/her clothes, will remain lying on his back, and can choose to remain with eyes open or closed.

Information obtained through continued pulse take will enable the practitioner to “scan” over facts contained in graphic and anatomical representations.

Various herbal solutions (manufactured by a pharmaceutical laboratory according to traditional Chinese Medicine formulas) are then vaporized over the body to inform and liberate the blockages identified within the patient’s energetic bodies.

It is in fact the patient himself who provides the axis and the nature of the imbalance according to a precise chronology that guarantees a “made to measure” treatment for the patient at every visit.

The practitioner can then be true to his real vocation and tune in to his patient to be totally at his service. This implies that he is utilized by the intelligence of his patient’s energetic bodies.

The practitioner’s vocation is revealed by a very simple principle: the more he is utilized, the more useful he becomes.

We have here an example of a perfect exchange between patient and practitioner that unsettles somewhat the importance usually given to the latter. It is important to note that the practitioner has no power over the patient, as the principle of the treatment is to faithfully transliterate the patient’s demands.

The patient then becomes fully aware that he/she possesses the power to heal him/herself. He/she will then need to accept to take charge and consider that by consulting, he/she holds not just an imbalance, but also the means to correct it on their own.

The ingenuity of Axiotherapy is to bring together two actors who, with the help of their complementarity, will be able to solve “the enigma” of a punctual situation that presents itself in the shape of an illness, physical pain or a psychological difficulty, and/or both.

Axiotherapy can also be complemented through treatment with other therapies such as osteopathy, acupuncture, or homeopathy, to name but a few.
